We invite researchers and developers to participate in our monthly events, in which we discuss state of the art and advances on Blockchain Technology.

Our talks are 100% technology-focused and do NOT cover legal or economic implications. The technical complexity of the talks varies from topic to topic. If you want to dive into this awesome technology, then this is the meetup for you!

Security concerns have repeatedly shaken the trust in handling billions of USD in decentralized smart contracts. It has become clear that writing secure smart contracts is a significant challenge. Security analysis tools are therefore essential to guide developers in writing secure contracts and enables users to trust contracts they use.
In this talk, we will overview the most recent security issues found in smart contracts and talk about their implications. We will delimit the landscape of opportunities for building automated security analysis tools and present the current state of security analysis tools for Ethereum smart contracts.
Finally, we will present Securify, the first push-button verification tool for Ethereum smart contracts that is fully automated, easily extensible to new security vulnerabilities, and provides strong security guarantees. We will demo the tool to show how it discovers critical security vulnerabilities, such as unprivileged storage accesses, missing modifiers, and many others. Securify precisely analyzes real-world smart contracts within seconds and handles any language that compiles to Ethereum bytecode.
